#Food#Cook#Vegan What’s up Thompson Gang! My mom made some Peanut butter cookies and they were disgusting. This disaster began with good intentions, to say the least. Mom and I thought it would be a great idea to bake something sweet and satisfying. Therefore I instantly thought of peanut butter cookies since that is one of our favorites’ favors of cookies. Thus we started looking up vegan peanut butter cookies recipes and stumble across #Mrs.Fields recipe. Since there’s so much hype about that particular brand. I set off to the cabinets and the refrigerator to obtain all the natural ingredients needed to bake those famous #Mrs.Fields cookies. Some of the ingredients were substituted therefore I don’t know if that had something to do with the end results. Like, instead of using almond milk we used walnut milk and instead of using sugar, we used date sugar or date paste. Which consists of 1 cup of dates and water blended together. And we also soaked 2 tbsp of flax seeds with 6 tbsp of water for about 10-15 minutes. Everything was going great until we were finished mixing the ingredients together, at this time it slowly began to go downhill from there. The consistency wasn’t solid enough to even scoop out with an ice cream scooper, let alone the taste. It tasted dry and nasty. It was so disappointing but I had to put on a brave face to see the reaction of the family. So sit back and watch our reaction as we taste the cookies. Enjoy!😊
