What we ate in a day (Vegan Collard Greens Stew Recipes)

#Whatweateinaday#Food#Nutrition What’s up Thompson Gang! We wanted to let you guys see what we ate in a day and hope it inspires you to make some dishes as well. The “Collard Greens Stew” consisted of natural ingredients such as:

  • 3 lbs of Collard Greens
  • 1 lbs of Brown Rice
  • 1 chopped Onion
  • 1 dice Bell Pepper
  • 2 Sticks of Celery
  • 2 Tomatoes (whole)
  • 1 can of White Beans (prefer Butter Bean)
  • 1 can of Ackee
  • 1 Tbsp of Crispy Onions
  • 1 Tbsp of Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp of Olive Oil
  • Cut a few pieces of Yellow and Orange Peppers (just for your liking)
  • 1 Tsp of Onion Powder
  • 1 Tsp of Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tsp Complete Seasoning
  • 1 Tsp of Salt & Pepper

Cooking Steps:

  1. Turn your stove on to medium heat
  2. Put the olive oil in a large pot and wait till it gets hot
  3. Then saute’ onions, bell peppers and celery until translucent or tender
  4. Add tomatoes to the pot and cook for 1-3 minutes stir occasionally , add Drained beans and cook for 7 to 10 mins
  5. Saute’ onions, bell peppers and celery until translucent or tender add greens and cook to your desire tenderness.
  6. Make sure you drain the can of ackee and place in a air fryer on roast and roast until golden brown
  7. cook the brown rice (by the instruction on the container)
  8. Once the rice is done mix the greens, beans and the ackee together
  9. Place the mixed veggies on top of the brown rice
  10. Then you can add the morrella cheese, peppers and crispy onions
