Benefits of Sea Moss

Its a type of algae that is rich in Vitamin C & A, amino acids, antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, and  92 of the 102 minerals the we need in our bodies like iron, iodine, zinc and much more!

Seamoss helps rid the body of any excess mucus, Gets rid of bad bacteria in the gut, & reducing congestion & Clearing out the buildup of phlegm in the lungs. Can you believe it doesn’t stop there! It is also excellent on your skin. When you apply it directly to your skin, it helps improve acne outbreaks, eczema, tighten & smoothes the skin. You can use seamoss as a mask as well.

How to prepare Seamoss

When you first receive your sea moss it is important to clean & remove any sea dirt, debris or particles. I recommend cleaning your seamoss twice , just to make sure it throughly clean.  Clean the sea moss before you soak it. After you clean the seamoss place in a bowl and cover with purified water. * make sure you all the seamoss is under the water. Cover and let it soak for 4 hours min.

At the end of soaking the sea moss would have expanded absorbing the water. Now some have used the sea moss in the state that it’s in, but I highly recommend you continue and prepare sea moss gel.

Sea Moss Gel

Equipment

  • blender
  • Large bowl 
  • Wide Funnel
  • Mason jars

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Lb   Sea Moss
  • Purified Water
  • 1/2 lime juice cut in half curve the taste while soaking

Instructions
 

  • Step 1:  Rinse a handful of Sea Moss well and put in a Bowl with enough water to cover it &  soak for 4 hours min. ( Add a squeeze of lime juice while soaking to offset the sea moss taste.- optional)
  • Step 2: Remove Sea Moss from water then place in a blender with just enough water to cover the Sea Moss & blend until it assembles a smooth paste.
  • Step 3:Fill Mason jars & store in fridge.
  • Now your Sea moss is ready to be used in your recipes!😊
